My exact sentiments upon leaving (1) Home and (2) Roselaine
I missed every corner of what I called my home; I missed family, friends and even the familiar faces;
It was a nice feeling; I had nice memories.
But aside from the yearning and the loneliness of separation I felt,
I will always remember the lessons it taught me,
the people who loved me and made me happy,
those who stood by me,
the people who judged and hurt me,
and those who just didn’t care at all.
I will always remember the giant leaps I took,
The bucket of tears I had to cry, the number of people that I lost,
and had to let go.
All these, honed me into who I have become now.
